TRUE STORY: Folks who know me can probably tell you I never leave home for work without my ink pen around my neck.
Some years ago a young girl at an elementary school where I was on assignment asked me, "What's that?", referring to my pen, perhaps thinking it was some magic photographer type gizmo.
"Pull it, " I told her. She did. She looked at it rather disappointedly and said, "Oh, I thought you were going to fart."
